MRC Data API — MEACHEAL Research Center — Effective April 7, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MRC Data API ("the API") at https://api.meacheal.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the API on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the API.

2. Description of Service

The MRC Data API, operated by MEACHEAL Research Center ("MRC," "we," "us"), provides structured data about the Chinese apparel supply chain, including:

Data is sourced from publicly available trade platforms and MEACHEAL proprietary verification processes.

Tier-specific rate limits, data access scope, and features are described in the API documentation. We reserve the right to modify tier offerings, pricing, and rate limits with 30 days' notice to registered users.

4. API Keys

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the API only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You must not:

  1. Scrape or bulk-extract data from the API beyond your tier's rate limits, or use automated systems to circumvent rate limiting.
  2. Redistribute raw data obtained from the API, in whole or in substantial part, as a standalone dataset, data feed, or downloadable file.
  3. Build a competing service that replicates or substantially reproduces the API's data or functionality using data obtained from the API.
  4. Resell API access or sublicense your API key to third parties.
  5. Misrepresent the source of data obtained from the API, or remove attribution where required.
  6. Reverse engineer the API's scoring algorithms, verification methods, or data processing logic.
  7. Use the API for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations, including export control laws.
  8. Overload the API with excessive requests intended to degrade service for other users.

6. Rate Limits

Each tier is subject to rate limits as specified in the API documentation. Exceeding rate limits will result in HTTP 429 responses. Persistent or deliberate rate limit violations may result in temporary or permanent suspension of API access.

Rate limits are applied per API key (or per IP address for the demo tier). We reserve the right to adjust rate limits to maintain service quality.

7. Attribution Requirements

Users on Demo, Free, and Pro tiers must provide visible attribution when displaying or publishing data obtained from the API. Required attribution format:

Enterprise tier users are exempt from attribution requirements.

8. Data Accuracy and Disclaimer of Warranties

THE API AND ALL DATA PROVIDED THROUGH IT ARE OFFERED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.

MEACHEAL Research Center makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding:

Supply chain data is inherently dynamic. Supplier information, fabric specifications, pricing, and capacity figures may change without notice. Verified data reflects conditions at the time of verification and may not reflect current conditions.

You are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability of API data for your use case. The API is not a substitute for independent due diligence, on-site audits, or professional advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if MRC has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MEACHEAL Research Center, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

By you: You may stop using the API at any time. To close your account and delete your API key, contact api@meacheal.ai.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your API access at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

Upon termination, your API key will be revoked and your right to access the API will cease immediately. Sections 8, 9, 10, 13, and 14 survive termination.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the API documentation or email to registered API key holders at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the API after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

If you do not agree to modified Terms, your sole remedy is to stop using the API and request account deletion.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) for arbitration in accordance with its then-current rules. The place of arbitration shall be Shenzhen, China. The language of arbitration shall be English.
